Since 2006 Brantford and Brant County and surrounding area residents, industry and non profit agencies have a way to recycle their unwanted and obsolete electronic equipment instead of sending them to the landfill site or leaving them on the curb.When you call BCR Electronics Recycling you can be assured the items will be handled in a responsible manner. Items that are not repairable are demanufactured back to their original components and sent to different facilities within Ontario for further processing. Please be assured I deal with facilities who ensure all material is handled within North America and doesn't end up overseas.
This is a win win situation for everybody concerned. Instead of waiting for the hazardous waste days each month and wondering what you are going to do with that VCR or old computer sitting in a room why not give BCR Recycling a call? IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TV RECYCLING: TV's are now being accepted for recycling. This service will be free. Excessively large TV's must be on ground level prior to pick up. CRT and Flat Panel TV's are accepted.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CRT Monitor Recycling: We have recently reached an agreement with one of our end recyclers. As of Feb 1 2011 the previous $10 fee per monitor is now waived .
Attention laptop, digital camera and cell phone owners! Don't throw out your faulty li-ion batteries. I now have a facility that properly handles them. At this time only lithium-ion batteries are being accepted. It will be clearly marked on the battery if it is lithium-ion.
